If you feel like you’ve seen this name as you caught a glimpse of your R1A syllabus freshmen year, you are correct, it was indeed Arcadia Eckmayer. As the most renowned notetaker of the 21st century, Eckmayer has won prices such as the Pulitzer for her first novel “Noting the Note: Memoirs of an Organized Life”, and the Daily Cal author of the year for her famous essay, “When you note… you note.” Nevertheless, her debut came when she started the collection of forty seven volumes (and counting) titled “Note to Self… Am I really Noting?” as a real spiritual guide for young people. Needless to say she has made an impression on professors around campus, as well as around the world. Theater for Charity has felt immensely honored to have Eckmayer, and her impeccable note taking skills on board. When you think you forgot everything you said in the entirety of a meeting because whoops you weren’t taking notes… Arcadia was sitting in the corner getting all the information down! And sometimes at the end of every document, she types a little heart, like this “<3”, just to let you know she not only heard what you said, she listened… and she typed with love.
